Welcome to the webpage of the Ruben M. Tanseco, SJ Center for Family Ministries (RMT-CEFAM)!  We are grateful for your visit.

For the past two decades, technology has grown in leaps and bounds. Because of the development in communications through technological advancement, our world has never been the same again. What used to be an expansive world is now a global village right at the tip of your fingers. Internet has become a way to reach out to people in the different corners of the world. Suddenly, space has never separated people from each other. And yet, the irony is that families continue to cope with difficulty communicating with each other. Effective communication remains to be the primary concern among couples and families.

We, at RMT-CEFAM, would like to be where people are. Our mission is to journey with each family, especially the Filipino families. As a mission of the Society of Jesus in the Philippines, we wanted to reach out to as many people as possible and share the Good News. Our approach remains to be psycho-spiritual. And the Internet is just another vehicle through which we can reach out more, especially the younger generation.

It is our hope that through this website, we will be able to reach out to you. Through our programs, we dream to empower each family towards becoming a community of love, justice and peace. We are grateful for your visit and we hope you join us in making this dream a reality. Share the mission with us.

Fr. James W.U. Gascon, S.J.
