1. Premarital

  • Discovery Weekend (DW) - in partnership with the Discovery Weekend Foundation
    This is a weekend experience for couples seriously considering marriage aimed at assessing their readiness as well as enriching their relationship to better prepare them for marriage.
  • TUGMAAN (Tugon sa Magkatipan o May Sumpaan)
    This is a one-day adaptation of the Discovery Weekend, conducted in Filipino (or some other local language), for our poor and underprivileged couples preparing for marriage.

2.  Marital and Family Enrichment (ME) - in partnership with the Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Philippines and the Magis Deo Community 

A live-in weekend experience designed to revitalize the interpersonal growth of the couple towards each other and towards God, through a particular method of dialogue and communication. The human art and skill of dialogue is integrated into a spirituality of mutual empathy and compassion.

  • Tipanan
    This is a one-day adaptation of the Marriage Encounter, conducted in Filipino (or some other local language), for our poor and underprivileged married couples.
  • Family Encounter (FE) - in partnership with the Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Philippines and the Magis Deo Community
    As a follow-up of the Marriage Encounter, this weekend experience is designed to revitalize the interpersonal growth between parents and their children (aged 10 and above), and the family's relationship with God. The Encounter method of dialogue and communication is integrated into a spirituality of mutual empathy and compassion. 
  •  Tipanan ng Mag-Anak
    This is a one-day adaptation of the Family Encounter, conducted in Filipino (or some other local language), for our poor and underprivileged families.

3. Spiritual Growth

  • Spiritual Deepening Retreat (SDR) - in partnership with the Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Philippines and the Magis Deo Community
    A weekend retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, for couples and individuals. The retreatants are accompanied through the four moments of their spiritual journey; The Call to a Conversion of Heart; The Call to Discipleship; The Cost of Discipleship; The Triumph of Discipleship.
  • Buhay-Espiritwal ng Mag-Asawa (BEM)
    This is a one-day adaptation of the Spiritual Deepening Retreat, conducted in Filipino (or some other local language), for our poor and underprivileged couples.
  • Creation Spirituality
    A one-or-two-day recollection on the way of the mystics - of being contemplatives-in-action, of finding God in all things. This is designed to lead the participants to a way of living born of an awareness of the inter-connectedness of all creatures by reason of their common Creator. It is an inter-faith approach to experiencing God's presence at home, at the workplace, in all of creation. The Liturgy of the World.

4. Social and Political Role of Families

  • Christian Parenting for Peace and Justice (CPPJ) - in partnership with the Christian Parenting for Peace
    A weekend of reflective discernment on how couples and families can respond to God's call in becoming instruments of love, justice and peace in their homes, neighborhood and country. It focuses on the equalfty of persons in dignity and worth, an alternative lifestyle of stewardship, simplicity and sharing; and the urgency of Christian nationalism.
  • Pamilyang Pilipino: Pangkapayapaan at Katarungan (PP-PK)
    This is a one day adaptation of the CPPJ weekend, conducted in Filipino (or some other local language), for our poor and underprivileged families.
